all apps are updated automatically. I want to turn that off

update automatically. Apparently that setting only applies to the software

wondering how to totally turn off automatic updates. I have turned it off in
settings, but if I'm plugged in and on wifi My apps will still update
automatically. I am running the latest version of iOS 7. and using a 5s.

Hi,
In the Settings, iTunes and AppStore preferences, make sure you have unchecked
both applications and updates.
Also note that if you share an account with someone else, and they update an
app, if applications is checked, you'll get the newer version.
