RE: Need to erase old damaged iPhone 6. any advice

2021-12-08 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
An iPhone 6 which is this damaged isn't going to be worth anything for resale
so you may as well destroy it if all you want to do is make sure nobody can
access it any more.
On the other hand if it has a passcode and you can't even get into it then it's
unlikely anybody else can either and I would just drop it off at a recycling
depot or ask at an Apple Store if they take it back to be recycled.
I assume you could drop it into a bucket of water for a day or so if you really
want to make sure it's dead, an iPhone 6 shouldn't last very long especially
not if the screen is cracked.

Here Here’s an update. I tried connecting my wife’s iPhone to my Windows 7

would have to respond on the iPhone to facilitate the download and restore.

Hi Kevin,

Any chance you have a Bluetooth keyboard and could use that to navigate through
 the menus with vo?

Or try doing a factory restore which will involve needing to connect your
phone to the computer,
But shouldn’t’ require a trust acceptance.
