Sorry about that sieghard, you are right. I went back and looked and that
is correct, but this is the first chance I have had to get near a computer
or anywhere with a data connection. Long story. So, I'm glad you caught
that one. Thanks much.

Many thanks for the replies and pointing out that the punctuation setting
affects the pronunciation. I guess my punctuation got inadvertently set to all
although I'm still puzzled why this would affect the pronunciation of a
hyphenated word. Live and learn and I'm glad to get it set and
Actually, you are correct in that the punctuatio level makes all the
difference. However, the correct setting to pronounce Wi-Fi as “WiFi” is to
have it set to “Some”.

you set it to “None” it does in fact pronounce it
Yes, crazy as it sounds, it is your punctuation. change it to none and she
will go back to pronouncing it the correct way. My husband had the same
problem and that is what worked for him. Somehow it had gotten changed.
Hope this helps.

I use Samantha enhanced and it says it correctly as “3 of 3 WiFi bars” followed
by the name of my home WiFi network which I am currently connected to.
