RE: What Apple Watch apps would you like me to develop?
I would imagine that such an app could offer both talking announcements and or silent vibration alerts, all configurable. This would be a great app. Due to any Apple imposed limitations, I can’t help but wonder how much access a dev would have to any of the voices on the watch however. Loading additional voices would probably be difficult because of memory constraints I would imagine. Totally agree here. This would be a very welcome feature in an app and simple in concept but not sure how difficult in reality. Re: What Apple Watch apps would you like me to develop?
There is an expensive dedicated tactile watch that does this already, simpler. Aimed at the d/b market maybe; can't remember it's name, but the vibrate patterns are simpler than that. More like roman numeral system big buzz for tens, smaller buzz for 5, and clicks for 1; a pause to separate hours from minutes; I think there is a 12/24 hour modes, so codes to define that too. Coding such a thing shouldn't be rocket science, but initiating it without prompting VO might be an issue and defeat the purpose. Indeed, launching it seems like the problem. Even if this app were always waiting for you to activate it, you'd need speech or Siri to get to the app in the first place. Re: What Apple Watch apps would you like me to develop?
Possibly, but all demos and docs currently point to the need to find an app in your glances or app screen and launch it that way. No word has been said about silently launching apps with gestures, and that seems like a feature Apple would want people to know about. Of course, the final details remain to be seen. Re: What Apple Watch apps would you like me to develop?
Not sure if someone answer this before, or if it is already capable of doing so. But again, from my conversation with the apple lady yesterday it seems like it is not been thought of yet. I would like to see that it can have hourly or even half hourly vibration. A bit like the talking watch that draw everyone crazy, but it vibrates instead of talk. That will add another to have list on the watch itself Joanne Chua Send from my iPad On 12 Apr 2015, at 9:21, Ioana Gandrabur igandra...@gmail.com wrote: Not shure how this might work but maybe one could have a customizablewatch face with just the time app on it? I'm no developer but one quick way might bde to have the taps in a morse code number pattern so all you'd need to learn are the ten different number rhythms so for 10-15 you'd have one tap slight gap followed by four evenly spaced taps, a slight gap to the five evenly spaced taps for the zero, again the one tap with slight gap to four evenly spaced taps for 1 andn five quick taps for the 5. Re: What Apple Watch apps would you like me to develop?
Apple currently won't allow custom watch faces, for some reason′ I have little doubt they'll eventually let developers make faces, but for now it's not possible. Apple has, in the past, introduced new technology they kept closed for a while before eventually opening (such as TouchID) but as of now, no custom faces.
