We were running RealVNC on everything until about a year ago at which time I decided to try Ultra VNC as I needed the ability to disable the Systray Icon. Due to UVNC issues I decided to just go back to RealVNC but I wanted to go back to version 3 so I could get rid of the dreaded systray icon.

The first user to log in gets the main display and the service mode RealVNCServer will only work for that user knocking back to login screen if another user tries to get in with fus if a second user logs in with FUS I Have used user mode vnc on a different port to allow me to get in steve Paul

Paul Sounds like a User/privilege issue in Windows. Specifically, I suspect that you installed the service under an Admin account, but perhaps are logged in under a different account - when the VNC connection is attempted. If this is the case, Windows will switch to the user login screen. A
