The server took a lot longer to upgrade and rebuild than I
had expected.
Everything is almost back to normal with the list. The
mirror site needs to fill up again, so there are a few
things missing on that front.

I have tried every thing I can think of But my iBook USB1 will not read
a USB2 external drive , neither will iMacs and Acer Notebook - sorry
to mention this on wamug.
I conclude that USB2 is not backward compatible am I right

I have been using my 333 bronze powerbook (running 9.2.2) with an
external 17 Apple monitor and USB keyboard and mouse. It is ideal for
me to be able to move from one setup to the other during work ie
sometimes directly entering data on the laptop, and typing
