Blank screen

We have a G5 that now has a blank screen 10.4.(latest cannot see) there is obviously something wrong tried reset PRam, disconnected reconnected, checked drives in Target mode. fear either dead screen - but it was so sudden no warning or dead graphics card. I would appreciate any ideas. tom

what sort of screen is it in case of lcd , get a torch check if you can see the 'desktop' after boot (does the g5 boots up???) in case of old picture tube style, the power supply may have died connecting another screen could solve your problem temporarely cheers James On 25/05/2009,

Yes, I'd agree with Susan here - try to narrow down the problem. If you don't have another screen to try, can you find another computer to try your screen on. € If another screen works on your G5, it points to a problem with your screen. € If another (known working) screen doesn't work on
