there is also a update for the new macbooks that you can get through software update which fixes an issue with the sata speed on the hdd just make sure you have the latest updates, you can also look in system profiler to see what speed your sata drive is connected at. It should be at 3.0gbps

Thanks Ronni. Renaming is a brilliant solution,I changed the .mov to .flv, uploaded to the web and it plays via the JW Player - very simple. Prism is a handy find to, it installs ffmpeg4 for the .flv conversion. Not bad at all, as installing ffmpeg is not trivial. Very, very much appreciated. G
