Stuart, it may our may not be relevant in your case but the Apple USB External Modem will only work 32 bit, i.e. no go on Intel machines. Having used that modem happily on my G5 I had to get a ZOOM 1063 when I moved up to an Intel iMac. Works perfectly through the print dialog. Severin
