Weird icon

This is really strange. I suddenly noticed an unfamiliar icon down in the left hand corner of the dock. It looks somewhat like the Pages icon, ink bottle + pen posed over the top of an orange book. The tool-tip message is that it is Finder. Is this correct? Has the Finder icon officially
