All my AddressBook contacts have gone.
I realised things were going wrong when I was syncing my iPhone and
found no data in Address Book on my iMac. Now it's wiped all the

Depending on how many contacts you have in the backup it may take some
time. What I suggest is you close Address Book, reboot the Mac and then
restore again. Don't open Address Book before restoring, just click on the

Under the Window drop down menu find Previous Recipients

Apple Mail doesn't have an Address Book as such. When you click Addresses,
you're only getting a glimpse from the actual Address Book.
Anything you want to delete/change/modify, you have to do from the Actual
Address Book.

preferences and check 'last name before first name', and it is now in
alphabetical order. So that's a possibility to try. The default was

Address Book to print mailing labels for
Christmas cards for a couple of years.
However I do not seem to be able to get the COUNTRY to print on the
labels.
There is a point in the print setup where you can check a box to
PRINT COUNTRY
and then a further box to check EXCEPT MY COUNTRY

Just checked Ronni - no, the iBook Address Book addition wasn't
appearing in Contacts in the online MobileMe account.
I've just gone through all the Reset Sync Data and it does appear
to have fixed the problem, so thanks heaps

Steven, Is the Contact you have made in Address Book on the iBook,
reflected in your online MobileMe Account under Contacts?
i.e.: Has it synced to MobileMe online cloud-servers?
I just had a quick look at Apple discussions and sounds like you are
not the only person having sync issues
