iMac 10.6.8 SL using gmail on Mail.
My husband has Alzheimers but is still able to send emails ( 2 a day on good
days!). It keeps him in touch with family in the Netherlands.
Unfortunately his short term memory loss creates lots of problems and Google

Draft and now they will not respond to the Send button.
He is still able to receive emails.
When you double click on a message in the drafts folder what happens?

I have been double clicking the message in the drafts folder and hitting Send
and there is just no response.
I must have tried 10 times over the last few days - all no response.
I just tried again to get an exact answer for you - and found out what the
problem is!
Somehow my husband
Right click (or Control click) on the grey area of the menu bar (where the text
is). You'll get a drop down menu to change settings.
He's possibly set it to text only. Change it to Icon and Text and all should be
good.

Marlene, you can also Right Click (Control Click) in the toolbar then click
“customise toolbar.
You'll be able to drag the Send button back to where you'd like to put it on
the toolbar.
