Ronni, yes, Droplets work fine in a fresh account. Interestingly, I note that I am in general getting requests from Finder for authorisation when moving files or just trashing them. Seems to happen when nothing is locked and read and write is enabled for everything in sight. I suspect that

Ronni, even further information! Since showing that everything worked with Droplets in Safe Mode or another user account, when I do a normal boot Photoshop will no longer open at all but crashes as it starts. Adobe feedback gives nothing. It is not damaged as it is still fine in Safe mode.

Ok Matt, Something is seriously wrong with the Library then, it is possibly in the loop of upgrading like it did in Snow Leopard and I got you to delete files so the upgrade could complete. A last resort before deleting any files. Download iPhoto Library Manager
