Hi, I don't believe there is any connection between having the same
Apple ID and distribution of emails - unless using iCloud email
addresses.
First of all I am assuming both of you are using the native Apple Mail
application for your emails in/out. What is below is predicated on
this assumption.
Hi Peter
We are not using iCloud email addresses
We are using the native Apple Mail application.
I’ve just checked her iPad and she only has her email address and credentials,
not mine. I do have her email credentials on mine for various reasons. I don’t
mind her getting my emails but the fact
Hi Peter.
I have had this issue for some time.
I think it is because we use the same Apple ID.
But I don’t want to change that because it syncs Contacts & Calendar
beautifully.
But mine was with Message.
So finally I found this on my iPhone:-
Settings/Message/Send & Receive = here you can select
Sorry Peter.
You may have misunderstood my answer to your post.
I do not have an issue with Mail or any longer with Messages.
I was simply making a suggestion related to your issue.

Hi Stephen
We used to use the same Apple ID but haven’t for many months.
My wife wanted her own ID and got one.
The emails go to her (Apple) computer and her iPad, she does not use her phone
for emails.
Many thanks
Peter

Hi everyone
My wife receives many of my emails on her computer and ipad. As far as I know I
have not organised this and cannot seem to find out how to stop this happening.
Can someone give me some information to be able to stop this?
Kind regards
Peter

Hi Peter, I see from your email you're with the augold domain name. I
wonder if there are some server set rules in place that might be
directing to your wife's address if she is the "primary" account
holder in your ISP account? Have you had a look in your ISP account
settings?
Kind Regards
Peter
Thanks for confirming that Peter. Is there any pattern in those emails
which are seen on your wife's devices? Are they only from one sender
or is it all senders that end up there?
Kind Regards
Peter Crisp

Hi Peter
We run about 10 different emails from the domain, I’m the primary account
holder and it doesn’t happen with any other email address.
I’ll have a look anyway but I don’t think it’s that.
