Hi, I don't believe there is any connection between having the same Apple ID and distribution of emails - unless using iCloud email addresses.  First of all I am assuming both of you are using the native Apple Mail application for your emails in/out. What is below is predicated on this assumption.

Hi Peter, I see from your email you're with the augold domain name. I wonder if there are some server set rules in place that might be directing to your wife's address if she is the "primary" account holder in your ISP account? Have you had a look in your ISP account settings? Kind Regards Peter
