Hi Walter, see the phrase in bold below for an ELM327 suitable for iPhone - there are many but note one of them uses WiFI for connectivity, the other (little blue one) uses Bluetooth for connectivity. Do a search on eBay using that phrase making sure you include iPhone in the search. My son

Hi Walter, yes I have used many of them previously. I currently have 3 Volkswagens and they work well, but you must choose carefully for your car. For VW’s, I use the “OBDeleven” (Google it) device paired with iPhone or iPad. The OBDeleven OBD2 scanner is designed specifically for all VAG cars
