Interesting concept! ---No. I didn't say that what has been done is invaine. That's good and you in america are not the only ones doing that. I can not quite follow your reasoning. Í doubt if you are serious. Really. But the effect by the huge outlet of the gasses from all engines can not be neglected either. We're developing cleaner cars, cleaner fuels, mass transportation, people working from their homes rather than commute to work ... but all of that isn't good enough? ---No, I don't think it's good enough. But it's a lot easier starting from nothing and doing things right than it is to take a fully developed country and correct past mistakes Still, thunderous applause to all these 3rd world countries who were going to be part of the problem but have instead decided to be part of the solution. But what do we do about the ocean floor? Scientists say thats where the greatest danger lies and there is no way that we can control it Mother Nature burps a few times and anything that we've done or ever hope to do is negated. ---Why not solve the problem we humans have been adding to the nature instead of worry about what have happened naturally all the time? Try to make it an excuse to make the problem worse? We can not, of course, do anything about the ocean bottoms. We have not started it either. But we can do something about the problems we add ourselves. I wonder if the UN can put environmental restrictions on Mother Nature and force her to comply under threat of world sanctions ... ---Why should it? It's enough with enviromental restrictions on the most dangerous of spiecies, the humans! Claes §(

One of his crew was killed in Kinshasa by a soldier who wanted his shoes. The chief of one village didn't want the powerline going through his village so the soldiers came, took the chief and his whole family out in the middle of the village, killed them all, buried them where they were killed and then a tower was built over their grave. He also visited Italy (Rome) where they have armed soldiers on practically every corner. We've both been to Mexico and I've been to Canada. My brother-in-law spent 2 years in Germany. A close family friend was in Korea for 6 months. And I've had pen-pals in England, Australia and the Netherlands that I wrote to for years.
