I've been on Digest Withdrawal for about a month. Let me tell you,
it's worse that the Versitis.
I just got a message and it appears that Prince of A Man, that Web site

I just heard a story on the radio about a survey which revealed the Top 5 TV
moms. Not necessarily in order, they were June Cleaver, Carol Brady, Marian
Cunningham, Harriett Nelson and Lucy Riccardo.
Got me to wondering, if Aunt Bee or Andy were even in the running. I seem to
recall Barney
Hello!
I would like to unsubscribe from your mailing list, because I didn't
subscribe in the first place! I think someone names Chris Simmons --

I, however, am not.
Could you please remove my email
As another Mike said yesterday in a message it does seem odd that Allan
'FLOYD' Newsome hasn't responded personally to anyone. My guess is with
spring here and all the school dances and such he is just busy as a
beaver cutting hair ...

Yeah, and I've seen a lot more bald cats

Allen. First, he's probably got barber's claw from all them prom and
graduation haircuts. And B, now he's got carpel tunnel from having to
resubscribe everyone. A real prince.

PHEW! That sure is good news! For a while there I thought someone had
Black-Balled me.
Thanks Allan!
Glad to see everything is now A-OK in Mayberry. We used to do a lot of
trivia on this board some years back, but this group is too smart to miss
much anymore. So, every time I think I have a hard question, someone comes
up with it, but I'll give it a try with this one, and I do think it's hard!
Ben's post about mothers represented in Mayberry made me think of two of my
favorite mother references. The first one being Fluffy who, despite being
in full view of her kittens, climbed out on to the roof. I love how Andy
says, you know how you feel seeing your mother on the roof. Then there

Imagine that!!! Someone who is not a rabid fan of all things Andy!! I certainly
hope that is not a contagious illness and if it is we need a definite cure.
Quick!! I always figured that there might be one person in this country
Next thing you know some wise guy will make some Anti-Bouncing Miracle Salve

I think the book The Incredible Mr. Don Knotts sounds like it will be a
fascinating read. I hope Weaver's will be able to carry it when it's
published.
Also, thanks Allan, for your tireless work in getting everything back to
normal in digest-land. It looks like everything is OK in Mayberry!
Glad to be back on the digest. A big thanks to Floyd to making sure my wires
were big enough.
Someone who lives in NC posted a few days ago about Andy Griffith calling his
house in support of a candidate for NC governor. I'm curious. Was Andy's call
live or was it pre-recorded? Did you talk
