I agree with most of what has said about nothing on TV today being as
good as The Andy Griffith Show. There is a show, though, on the
Discovery Channel that I enjoy watching, sometimes with my daughter
called "Mythbusters". It's kind of a cross between Odd Facts Known by
Few, Learn a Month Magazi

I too have had success with getting a train to smash a penny. Many moons ago my
friends and I used to place pennies on the track now and then. It was near a
coal yard, so? I guess the pennies stayed on the track because the train was
travelling at a slower pace. Anyway, we never had trouble find
My buddy and I used to frequent a local trestle - fishing, wading in the water,
etc. One day we saw a train coming - he put a nickle on the tracks, I put a
penny. We both recovered our flattened coins. Still got mine somewhere. Wow
- that was about 35 years ago. I'm getting old.

I agree, Robert! Messing around down by the train tracks could be just as
dangerous as fooling around in the Remshaw house.
Why not just put your penny in stagnation water and watch it turn into a snake?
It's a lot safer.
