Thanks to all of you who sent me emails helping me capture Mayberry screen
pictures. For not having any computers in Mayberry you guys sure know a lot
of stuff. Those Learn a Month magazines have a lot of useful information.
I just rewatched Keeper of the Flame to take a look at Larry
Ken, that's the problem with those electronal marvels - sometimes you need
software to make them work!

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, $0.27 in 1963 (episode air date)
would be $1.91 in 2010. Now Barney can really diversify his stock portfolio!

I was watching Opie and the Spoiled Kid and noticed a blooper. I searched the
digest and couldn't find any mention of it. Opie was talking with Andy about
getting more allowance. At one point, Opie stands up and leans against the
railing at the desk. All these shots of Opie are reverse images
I was watching Firecreek on Turner Classics Saturday evening - hard to beat a
movie with Henry Fonda AND Jimmy Stewart. But our own Jim Lindsey (James Best)
was a bad guy - definitely earned himself a rude! It just seemed strange
seeing him playing a rotten scoundrel.
I guess it's the
Orville Hendricks - Still selling butter and eggs after all these years.
The only birds around our place are a few Robins and one pesky woodpecker.
Ain't you got any chickens around? Just what kind of eggs are you sellin?

I'm thinking that was when Otis rode the cow in. Of course, I always
thought Goober probably opened both doors to get the car inside.

The one where Otis bought a horse for $10.00 and it turned out to be a
cow. Andy and Barney went to another jail to kiss up to Otis and get him to
come back to Mayberry.

In tonight's episode of High Noon in Mayberry Barney received an
investment check for 27 cents. Just wondered what that might be in 2010
money.
Anybody know?
Of coursein 2010 money it would be worth a dime!!!
