My theory is the town council cut it down by mistake when the people from
Hollywood came to make a picture.
My hometown newspaper did a very very nice story about my growing up in a
small town and how it got me interested in Mayberry. It made the front page
with a picture of me in my uniform.
I 've never asked a trivia question before, so here's my little ditty...Who
said, Come next Christmas, don't expect me to buy my cotton balls from you!
