Hey, Mayberry friends. While watching The Rehabilitation of Otis this
morning, Otis told Barney they couldn't keep his problem between themselves
because Barney had a three party phone line. Does anyone else remember these?
It was common in the 60's and we had a four party line. Each phone

Hey, Mayberry friends. I've been reading the posts about the episode titles and
then mentioned in the dialogue, and I love it. Probably the most popular is
Citizens Arrest. The words are spelled correctly but I think, phonetically,
it's Citizens Arrayest, Citizens Arrayest. You'all didn't think
In 1957, my family moved from one Chicago suburb to another just a short
distance away but with a much smaller population - about 6,000 compared to the
15,000+ where we had lived. Much to the amazement of all of us, it turned out

down and it looks like he picks up a twig and is playing with in his hands
while he muses out loud Mr. McBeevee, loud enough to draw the
Barney had a three party phone line. Does anyone else remember these?
Sure do. We only had two lines on ours. Fortunately our next door neighbors

ever on the phone. But when they were and you wanted to make a call it
Well now we have some impressive lists thanks to Neil Bentley and

Leave it to a Lawyer to throw more paperwork at you that you can handle.
Amongst Neil's List (and Your Honor I have to disqualify the ones with

Matthew, thanks for the link to vote on favorite Andy episodes. It is so
difficult to select 10. I struggled to reduce my faves; there are at least 20
or so that are worthy, IMHO.I was surprised to see two of my favorites, Three
Wishes for Barney and Barney Fife, Realtor, not on the ballot.
How about The Fun Girls?

Hey, Mayberry friends. My grandchildren like to watch iCarly on Nickleodeon
and on an episode today, Carly managed to get all A's on her report card, which
she didn't earn. She was overcome with guilt until she told the truth. Sound
familiar? This is just another fact that proves the life

Today I was listening to the Rush Limbaugh radio show, and Andy and Barney were
on there talking about the Obama Health Care deal. But Barney said if you went
to the hospital under Obama health care you would not get peanut butter and
jelly sandwiches. That is strange, I thought it was only
