The surprise guest was someone who started going to Mayberry Days at age 8
and is now 19, is confined to a wheelchair, basically, and has made a ton
of friends at the Days! For everyone who has met Kyle Butler we are so
proud to say he received the Key to Our Hearts award and Plaque last
Thank you to everyone who participated this year in our annual chapter service
project. We raised $2516.50 this year for the Surry Arts Council in support of
Mayberry Days this year and into the future. The auction box in the Playhouse
closet is not empty, so we will plan to do it again next

Anyone catch any of the TV Land Viewers' Choice marathon? They showed the
Top 50 episodes as voted online by fans, and showed them in order of most
votes. #1 was a bit of a surprise for me: Hot Rod Otis. Evidently a lot
of Otis fans out there. #2 was The Pickle Story, which I honestly
Well, Dixon, the first biggest surprise was that TVLand didn't even include
all 166 TAGS episodes in its online voting. All it included were the episodes
they had already scheduled to run for their 50 Days of Andy. So, for instance,
the all-time highest voted episode by fans for 50 years -
I don't believe anyone employs
proofreaders anymore. You often find gross errors in novels these days. It's
a shame.

Why when Andy takes Barney to return the car to Mrs. Lesh
does he drive Barney's car knowing it would more than likely break
down instead

I just want to say a big THANK YOU to the surry arts council, the stars of the
show, the shops, and all the fans for this years Mayberry Days. It's been a
tough year with my wife's cancer, (doing very well praise God) it was great to
get away and forget all worries of life and find peace.
Our local tv station shows TAGS
at 10 thru 11 pm every night 7 days a week. last night was
the Christmas episode. My favorite part is when Ben gives
Bee the sewing basket and Ellie and Mrs. Scobbie a gift and
they instantly turn and start singing Noel the Angels and
