My folks were from West Virginia, and my mother-in-law was from Virginia,
and both ate a lot of lamb growing up.
I'm sure it's a regional thing, and since NC, VA. and WV have lots of
ancestral connections, I'm not surprised that it's mentioned in the show.

I think I would like to run a fabric shop for all the sewers and quilters in
the town and county.
I'd encourage Aunt Bee, Clara, Thelma Lou, and the Mendlebright sisters, and

Hubby and I watched Christmas in Connecticut for maybe the 10the time,

The show I associate most with the town of Mayberry setting is the

A little note of thanks to all of the trained and untrained noticers
out there! I just love it when you all bring to light the errors that was
made either in filming or editing of the show! And the reason I love it
so much is because I keep learning new things about the

A scene that always really tickle's my funny bone, is the one
about Barney and the choir. Andy and Thelma Lou are in the
courthouse talking about Barney's singing ability's. Andy says
a line and Thelma Lou keeps saying but he can't sing!!. When
my hubby and I are in church or somewhere
Me too! I also noticed (and anxiously waited) to hear some
mention of our Sweet Barney but it never happened!
I'm so mad that I thought about kill'em,,,but I kinda hated to go
that far!
