I have a Blu-ray player and all of my TAGS DVD's play just fine. A blu-ray player will play both regular and blu-ray DVD's. A regular DVD player will not play Blu-ray DVD's. So when you decide to get a new Blu-ray DVD player, all of your old DVD's will work just fine. Mike I hate a know it
