Bless your heart Doug for your home haircut disasters. My baby sister at
the age of 5 was suddenly without bangs when Mama's old-fashioned
curling iron, heated on the stove, just singed them off. She was so
upset she didn't want to go to church but Mama kept telling her the Lord
didn't care if
cut it as she told Opie she knew how to cut hair.
d. He didn't need haircuts as he wore a rug like Mr. Schwamp did. ( Probably
made of Chinese hair)

Since I'm headed for a haircut right after work today, I was reminded of the
Taylor's visit to Hollywood in Season 6. It always seemed to me that both of
the
episodes while they were in Hollywood.Opie's looked like he had just gotten a
haircut before they left Mayberry. Has anybody else noticed
Now Mayberry wouldn't be Mayberry, at least in seasons 1-6, without
Floyd Lawson, owner of Floyd's Tonsorial Parlor. But how often did Andy,
Opie, Barney, etc. say they needed a hair cut & they really looked like
they needed one? I certainly thought Opie's hair looked just like always
in the ep
