A story in our local news lately has been the accidental discharge of a
Deputy Sheriff at a crime scene. The gun was holstered while the deputy was
writing something down and the gun went off. The bullet was found lodged in
his wallet. His quote was The gun was in its 3-point safety holster. You
That was lovely verse Ken. Thanks for sharing that.
Perhaps some proof that blessings often do come in disguise. God works in
myterious ways.

I wrote about my class reunion a few days ago. I had so many people to
talk to that I forgot to talk to one lady about a possible connection to
our favorite show. I seemed to remember from elementary school that
this girl's uncle, an actor, once came to our school. His name was Alvy
Moore who
I remember at least one time when Andy and Barney were after a
desperate fugitive and Andy handed Barney the box of bullets and said
go ahead and fill 'er up.

Judy, some other episodes were mentioned, but you were absolutely right

They did have a nice display of things Jim Nabors donated a few years
ago when we were there. They were planning on packing things up and
remodeling in the museum but they have had enough time to do that by
now. The name of the museum is the Comer Museum located at 711 N
Broadway Ave
From reading all of our letters, if we could all be someone else it would
proberly be Ed Sawyer. He did what I think we all want to do, he made Mayberry
his home town. He told Andy that he took the Mayberry paper by mail so he
could learn all about the people there and pretty soon he started
