Has anyone recieved a strange email from our writer friend Tom Kessel lately ? Not here on this forum but at your personal email address ? Or it could be scammer who has used the name out of pure coincendence. The mail did come to the same address as the one I use for TAGS forum however. I searched the internet and was able to confirm that it is a common scam including the words “inform you about my traveling to Scotland for a Seminar.” Please do NOT fall for the scam. Our city recently bought an old building. We went looking around in it, and it had a basement. Nobody wanted to go down in the basement because it was old and dark, etc Then we thought about whether any homeless people might be sleeping down there, or were just trying to stay warm. (The building had been vacant for some time and the basement had an outside door that was not locked) Anyway, since nobody wanted to go down into the basement, I opened the door and yelled any old tramps down there? After getting no answer, we left... I had a grin on my face, but nobody else got it. I found this this morning. It can't be the same guy! Hello, How are you doing? I hope all is well with you and your family. I know this might be a surprise to you but I'm writing this email to you in an hurry and in a confused state of mind. I want to say I'm really sorry that I didn't inform you about my traveling to Scotland for a Seminar. It was something urgent and i didn't even inform anyone about this traveling. But I just got myself in serious mess here now. I got my wallet misplaced on my way to the hotel I'm supposed to lodge in. My money,phone, cards,diary, my return ticket and other vital documents are all in the wallet. I'm so confused right now as I have lost all contacts. Flop-Eared Mule/No Account Mule
I've noticed Ben Matlock uses the word jackass pretty liberally on 'Matlock.' I'm sure it stems from the songs 'Flop-Eared Mule' or 'No Account Mule' (a.k.a. Muleskinner Blues). Ironically, Clarence White-formerly of 'The Country Boys' on TAGS-formed his band 'Muleskinner' in 1973 after 'The Byrds' broke up. I too received and email from Tom K. I kinda had suspicions of it being a scam so forwarded it to the security division of AOL for their investigation. If these people who are so smart would get a job they could make a lot more money and it would be legal without jail time added on!! Where's Barney when you need him!!
