For those of you asking wanted to let you know that Jackie Joseph has been
to the last two or three Mayberry Days events at Mount Airy. I'm sure there are
some photos on the web taken of Jackie at Colonel Tim's or in the Parade.
She is a very nice still soft spoken lady who loves to share
Our family visited at Don Knotts hometown celebration last Saturday in
Morgantown WV. Went to hear Don's daughter, Karen, perform her Tied Up In
Knotts show. It was about an hour long and reflected a lot on her the
relationship with her father. Had some show clips from Don's variety hour
My favorite, if I can name just one, would be Opie's Charity, Ronnie Howard
just steals the show.

Wow, what a great Mayberry Days we had. Just returned and am tired, as we
live in Ohio, but guess I'm just all keyed up. I think this Mayberry days was
the best I have been to. I really enjoyed the Colonel Tim's show this year. Had
lots of Mayberry this year. Wonderful skits of the show.
I think Andy is saying pone, not bones. Grind his bone to eat my pone. What
do you think?

I purchased a DVD of Return to Mayberry a couple of years ago at Mayberry
Days. I don't know if they are still available or not. I'm not sure I have the
ability to burn one, I'll have to ask my son. (Isn't that a shame, well he's
35) I'll find out. I enjoyed watching it. If I can I will.
