Well, a year has past...but anyway, here comes my appreciation:
I agree with Massimo. Companies that ask for Django (or whatever X
technology) developers, it is because maybe there are some constraits with
that particulary tool. In my humble opinion:
- They already have systems in that X
I would like to add my two cents because I struggled with the same
questions in the beginning: there isn't really much difference between
django and web2py except for ORM and the template (web2py template language
is the most easiest to learn as its very pythonic, in my opinion). Once you

PHP jobs. To me you are asking the wrong question.
web2py is a tool. Jobs where they force you to use a tool and do not let
you choose your own tools are not good jobs.
