what did the log say when weewx was restarted until first archive period has passed? not being funny, but if it took 3 days to discover weewx was not updating are you 100% sure the 20mm you saw on the console was for the same day that you have compared with on reports and database? what is

[weewx-user] Rainfall not recorded

2019-11-03 Thread Powerin
Hi All, Yesterday weewx (3.5) seems to have missed recording some of the rain that fell during the day. The station (Vantage Pro2) has correctly recorded 20mm but weewx only shows 10.8mm on its webpages and database. Is it possible to get weewx to re-read the correct data from the station or

Also note that the process ID changes at that point as well (614 to 558) Further there is another change of process ID to 583, then one entry of 475 and back to 583. I'd say you have multiple sessions running. Susan -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups

Good day to you all, The last few weeks I have a problem with weewx becoming unresponsive. I have to reboot the computer with a hard reset. Now I had the log on and found this: *Nov 2 21:15:19 Grandix weewx[614]: manager: Added record 2019-11-02 21:15:00 CET (1572725700) to database 'weewx'*

No reason to upgrade unless you need the functionality of the newer versions. I have a station that is still running v2.6.2! However, the Python consortium will no longer support Python 2.x as of 1 January 2020. I suspect operating system

I am in a similar boat. I am running 3.5.0 on my site. I have put off upgrading it since it's running fine with no problems. I want to see if the newer version would cause problems if I upgraded so I created a virtual machine using Virtual Box and installed Raspian on it, put the latest Weewx and

Think doing some RTFM answered my question. It looks like I can install on top and run 'wee_database --update' and all should be well. Maybe I should keep more up-to-date with new versions of WeeWx, not to mention new versions of Raspberian! On Sunday, 3 November 2019 11:55:54 UTC,

I've not updated the Pi running Weewx for quite some time hence it's on what's now quite an old version, 3.6.2. Are there any gotchas about upgrading to the latest version? I will of course take a backup first! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups
