Hmm, noticed the same error on my 4.0/python 2 VM. All was fine around 10am
my time on 20 January and the error is there 9am on 21 January. This VM is
not run continuously but shutdown at night and started each time it's
needed. The first thing after startup is a git pull from development. When

therefore set up iptables wrong. As soon as I changed the websockets
iptables rule to tcp then everything
So since a few days the solution with crontab is working fine, except from
the many copies and uploads of the files, but I can live with that. But I
noticed that every time weewx starts, the first record from TE923 is
skipped, so if I start weewx every 15 minutes and the archive period is

I have backed up my Pi a number of times with the SD Copier utility with*
both* the Pi running and while it's running weewx. I always test the
backup SD after creating it and it's never failed. Perhaps backing up an
operational system "live" isn't the wisest thing to do, but it worked for
me

to feed my home automation. Calming down the MQTT traffic really helps.
