I think you've misunderstood my point. The point was to refresh cookies on each
page load.
Algorithm:

And as seems it's not done like that, so that doesn't work for me/us (there are

In the SMW+ CSS I noticed:

But the values do not seem to be used.
Benjamin Langgut advised on the SMW mailing list that there is currently no
assignment of the 'even' and 'odd' classes to the TR element of tables created
with the SMWTableResultPrinter.
It would be great if this could be added as it would greatly enhance the look
of table query results. People keep telling me my sites look like Excel!

However with the addition of the required attribute to the password fields, browsers that follow the HTML5 standards (Opera, Safari) block the user from creating the account for leaving the password field blank. As you can see this creates the pardox where the feilds should be left blank, however are required to be entered to submit the form, leaving the user confused and with the false impression that the password that they entered will become the accounts password. Clear has to do with what the element does to the floating chaing *before* it's rendered, *not after*. Adding clear:both to the last element in a series of floating elements will result in that element breaking the floating chain and then being rendered at the far left/right below the other elements. By using div style=clear:both/div we can clear floating and get the parent container to receive the correct height. I think you've misunderstood my point. The point was to refresh cookies on

page load.
Algorithm:

And as seems it's not done like that, so that doesn't work for me/us (there
are
some concerns on our feedback page already).
Our code does do this. Whenever it processes a cookie to decide whether to show
or hide a section, it renews it. This means cookies get refreshed on every page
view where they're used (so viewing a page without a languages section will not
renew the cookie for the languages section).
Also, the cookies' expiry time is now 30 days. If you're having trouble with
this, it's probably not due to expiring cookies as the code that makes these
cookies expire after 30 days was deployed less than 30 days ago.

I'm not too much a regular here. I was the first one to complain in the IRC channel about not being able to create an account using Chrome. That was roughly 2 months ago (maybe more). About 12 hours ago i found myself unable to create an account using the latest Chrome beta (as has become the norm), the brand new Safari from a couple of days ago (it had been my go-to browser prior to updating yesterday), and an older version along with the latest version of Opera. That would be my three browsers i will use. Under duress i had to resort to a version of IE that in most other ways is useless in order to create an account. Point being, it is not just Chrome or/and Opera. In Chrome clicking by e-mail moves the cursor to Retype password. In Safari it highlights the Password field and moves the cursor there. In Opera you get that nice popup telling you the fields are mandatory. Before showing interwiki section opened by default, the cookie remembered the choice of the specific user (if he opened a section, it'll be opened next time too, if he closed that one it'll be closed next time too). Now, this works for all the sections, except for the interwiki one. In fact, if a user close it, it'll always be opened (but for this bug, it would have to be closed!). Some users on it.wiki have reported the problem. If you want deployment, you'll have to ask someone with shell access. Try pestering people in irc://irc.freenode.net/wikimedia-tech. But I thought it wouldn't affect Wikimedia sites, since those have $wgHtml5 = false. There's a separate bug here. Looks like it's related to allowing attributes to be values and not just keys . . .
