daniel added a comment. @GWicke Perhaps some confusion is caused by us thinking of the storage backend in different terms. For me, RESTBase is a BlobStore. A BlobStore deals with binary data, which it stores and assignes urls to, and which it can retrieve given such a url. That's it.
