[Wikimediach-l] Appel aux volontaires pour 2 opérations dans 2 centres commerciaux de Neuchatel et Lausanne
*In english below* Bonjour à tous, suite au succès de l'opération freie fahrt ins internehttp://www.seniorweb.ch/fr/category/sw-editorial/freie-fahrt-ins-internett à BERNE dans le centre commercial de Wankdorf, deux opérations du même type devraient se dérouler à Neuchatel (La Maladière centre, Aoiut septembre 2011) et Lausanne (Allamand centre, 2012). Le projet freie fahrt ins internehttp://www.seniorweb.ch/fr/category/sw-editorial/freie-fahrt-ins-internett entre dans le cadre du projet TAO. Ces opérations se déroulent en partenariat avec SeniorWeb qui fournit une part importante de volontaires. WMCH recherche des wikimédiens disponibles pour assurer également quelque taches comme l'accueil, la tenue d'un stand d'inscription, et surtout la conduite de quelques WorkShop sur les projets Wikimedia mais aussi sur d'autres sujets tels que acheter en ligne scanner un document partager des photos sur internet etc Ces ateliers se dérouleraient les *mardi et jeudi de Septembre* pour Neuchatel. De plus il faudrait assurer de la présence sur un stand d'inscription pendant la seconde moitié d'Aout. WMCH peut prendre en charge les frais de transport et de restauration lors de la participation à ces évènements. Toutes les personnes intéressées sont invitées à me contacter, même si vous n'êtes disponibles que pour une ou deux dates! Merci d'avance! We are looking for volunteers for these events to assure the welcoming, the conduction of workshop or helping at the registration desk. The operation should take place during the month of september in Neuchatel, and begining of 2012 for Lausanne. Every volunteers are welcomed! Dear Frédéric, dear all, There are some photography cracks among Seniorweb volunteers. We also discussed about scanning old dias and photos today at a get-together of Seniorweb volunteers. I think spreading the word in the Seniorweb community could be worthwhile. Is there someone who could give an introductory course in German? (e.g. in Bern) - Legal aspects: Why is it important to publish the pictures under a free license? Which licenses are acceptable for Wikimedia-related projects? - Technical aspects: How to upload the photos? - Community: What should they know about the community and the interactions on the platform? Netiquette, core values? - Content: Which objects would be particularly interesting for Wikipedia? - Administrative: How do I get accreditations for events, etc. it is important, to define: - quality standards - 50 Kilobyte or 150 Megabyte - color space and ICC profiles - file naming convention - metadata (XMP /IPC NAA / IPTC core / Dublin Core) Such definitions are important. Professionals can implement this after a short introduction with ease. The value of the media data will be more, if the data is produced and declared systematically. As discussed, I am interested in this topic.
