more) have recently got free licensed scholarly/encyclopedic books online.

We don't have a dedicated Wikisource community yet and this was initiated
as part of tawiki10 celebrations.
We are awaiting official written confirmation on the re-release. But, the
Tamil develpment board which owns these encyclopedias have given approval
of our request already.

I am aware that you have been largely a volunteer except for a brieft part
time stint with WMF some time before.
And, I have already appreciated your work in WikiData and TranslateWiki as
a volunteer.

There is some similar work undertaken by Tamil Wikipedians and we expect
official confirmation to release many volumes of encyclopedias under CC
license soon.

Wikisource project was coming from Gujarati wiki community. It is mean
that project is CIS own preparation So why they are not proposed for
others Indic Wikisource project like Bengali, Tamil Telugu, Marathi,

if you notice, in that proposal, there is no payment to the community, who
will really be putting pain in digitising/uploading/typing/correcting the
