Re: [Wikimediaindia-l] [Press] :The Hindu : Konkani Wikipedia bogged down by multiple scripts
Gerard, It'll be good if someone who can read both Kannada and Devanagari scripts can do this. I'm not proficient with Kannada script. Will give it a shot if nobody else volunteers for this. Santhosh, Thanks for the pointers. - Sundar That language is an instrument of human reason, and not merely a medium for the expression of thought, is a truth generally admitted. - George Boole, quoted in Iverson's Turing Award Lecture From: Gerard Meijssen gerard.meijs...@gmail.com To: Wikimedia India wikimediaindia-l@lists.wikimedia.org Sent: Tue, February 8, 2011 9:14:19 PM Subject: Re: [Wikimediaindia-l] [Press] :The Hindu : Konkani Wikipedia bogged down by multiple scripts Hoi, Transliteration IS done for Serbian and for Chinese. So when it can be done, please help us by providing the scripts that enable such transliteration. It will make your project that much more readable and therefore effective.
