I think a lot of people use MT for that. It's a bit more work to set up but has not long term 3rd party costs. Teletronics used to have a drop in box but they wanted something like 60 or 80% of the revenue for billing people for you. We have an MT system set up for some of the dirt bike races

The VDSL stuff is well proven. The filter needs to be on the other end of the line - not at the 66 blocks. The modems have the filters built in. You would need to get to the phone line in the room, redirect it to the modem, then back out the modem to the phone jack. The NetSys stuff is about 260
