Who knows the part number for a RadioWaves 1 foot DUAL POLARITY parabolic dish for 5.2-5.8 GHz? I keep seeing that they are available, but no part number or distributor stock. -- Patrick Shoemaker Vector Data Systems LLC shoemak...@vectordatasystems.com office: (301) 358-1690 x36

I believe that is incorrect. I don't think Radiowaves makes a 1' DP parabolic. I believe that the smallest DP parabolic made by Radiowaves is a 2' and you can use the SPD2-5.2 instead of paying extra for the high performance. -B- Ryan Ghering wrote: Ack sorry I ment. Radio Waves

What we really need is a way to standardize addresses in Platypus, then add the census info (and why not GPS coords) to that. Anyone tried a project like that? Randy On 2/20/2010 3:46 PM, Brian Webster wrote: I found another on line geocoding service (http://www.geocode.com/) that seems to

[WISPA] suggestions on 2.4 GHz cavity filters?

2010-02-22 Thread Rogelio
Anyone have any luck using cavity filters to limit coupling interference problems on poorly built cell sites with lots of co-channel interference between sector antennas? (If so, I'd love to know which brands you use)

Are you sure you are seeing interference from cell systems and not from a 2.4 Ghz backhaul for T1's at this or an adjacent site or something else? I have never seen any 2.4 Ghz interference from any cell site equipment. Not saying it can't happen just nothing I have ever heard of and we

I'd hate to step in any of that chicken crap here, but here goes. Cavities are usually in pairs, one tuned as a low pass and the other as a high pass. Cavities have quite a lot of insertion loss which will adversely affect your receive. Besides, they are expensive. If the noise was out of

OK That makes sense. Most bandpass filters I have seen have 250-350 Mhz windows. So if you run the unit on say channel 7 which is 2.435 GHz (I think) you would not be eliminating anything that is 125-175 MHz down or up. The only possibility I know of is using them when you are running

With the exception of a diplexer on a full duplex microwave radio, Part 15 filters are usually bandpass and are not high-low because there is only one channel. And the cost is reasonable. The last one we purchased was only about $200. RF Linx. But I agree with antennas, F/B ratio, higher
