When I purchased the card from IS several years ago, it was a plain ol' Intel Desktop card. I matched the EXACT model number and purchased an additional card for a spare. At the time, they were EXACTLY the same cards (unless you think IS is making chip or firmware changes on the card itself?)

Just received the imagestream gateway router (vintage 2006 or so) , unfortunately it's equipped with 4-port T1/E1 cards, not ethernet cards (sigh). Does anyone know if these will work with standard (e.g. 3com, intel, whatever) 10/100 ethernet adaptors, or do we have to use a proprietary card?
