I went 8.5.0.11 Dec 18 or so. 300 or so 205's 20 or so 225's and 277 and 275. Everything came back up without a fuss. If I had a gripe as I worked through the 4 controllers the AP's did not redistribute themselves until I rebooted the last controller. I run 1 virtual master 2 -7210 and 1 -7220.
