Was that the best the link would do before the wind? It might seam odd, but have
you tried cross pol at one end? Ive got a dish here, the bunp on the feed is
180* off from the specs, made for lots of fun. "No no, the paper says this is
right, it just isn't lined up" half hour later "sure, lets flip the feed --
whiskey tango foxtrot!"

The diversity switch dies in the cm9.  drops rx 6-20db...

Keep in mind that with a link you have to figure out which side is 
giving you the trouble.
It could be either tower that has the problem.

If it was the CM9 then I would think you would have a signal on one side

attenuating both the transmit and receive signals.
The only things in common would be pigtail, lmr400 and antenna feedhorn. 
But it could be on either tower.

is water in the jumper and changing it might fix it. There's also a

CM9's are pretty reliable, but when they have failed for me it is 
usually with the receive going out.

replace cards, pigtails, and LMR again.

Yeah...I agree, weather attenuation really only occurs at 10GHz and up. 
If weather is changing signal quality, then it points to a connection 
that is no longer weather tight.

Ok. Weather might be water incursion.  CM9 might be PIGTAIL. You didn't say 
what mfg antenna so its hard to guess. There is always the alignment thing.

According to my path calculator, this link should be -55 on each side. 
Are you sure it was aligned when it was first installed?
