I wanted to update and let everyone know exactly what happened with the AN50s. As they're a ptp device I'm sure they're very important to everyone using them and every second counts! I had three AN50s on this tower. Two of them had problems one was fine. They're all grounded the same way, same surge suppressors, the works. I walked into the building and found two of the IDUs had no lights. Could not boot them at all. If I had nothing plugged these two, or just the bottom surge suppressor it would boot but not see the t58 ODU. One of the ODUs was bad, with a good surge - another line the ODU was good but a bad surge. Replaced the two bad components and left two good ones up there. The three MTs are less complex - boards died and one of the Pac POEs died. Josh, You may want to consider having "spares" of this equipment on hand for future problems. We keep enough spares to replace an entire tower (licensed backhaul, AP's, UPS, rebooters, etc.) in our tower truck, and we still have enough extra stuff at the office for more repairs if needed. I understand, and I've been there before... however, now when we buy anything (new router, core switch, backhaul, etc.) we always buy a "spare" as part of the purchase price. Streakwave now has a distribution center in Cincinnati. They stock everything Streakwave sells. I have no afterhours numbers for them but if someone has a private number for ANYONE at Streakwave they can probably find someone over there to help you. The sales people from RF-Linx Moved over to the Streakwave Dist. Center so if anyone has any of the salespeople from RF-Linx, that may get you in the door as well. I also woke to a site being down (5 actually because they are fed thru the one that got it). I lost an omni (big hole in it), switch, 433ah, 532, and associated cards and pigtails were replaced too. It's was not too bad really.
