I have my own BalExtension UI and the version built against WiX 3.8 fails if I build my installer with WiX 3.9 (it builds ok but crashes at runtime). if I update the extension to 3.9 and then install then it is ok. I think that the extra parameter in CWixStandardBootstrapperApplication is the i

Yes, I think it will. I did a quick comparison of the 3.9.702 to 3.9.720 changes in the source. ( I have to use my in-development setups to move other applications to QA on a regular cycle.) So I am using the 3.9.720 with the existing mba to meet some of those demands and then I will try to impro
