Ok, I am interested if there is a log in wsjtx linux that shows devices
detected as I cannot show a screenshot with choice expansion open.

Hi Mike,
I was using the "old ALSA" until the release of the new sound manager or
may be sound sub-system, which is called pipewire-alsa.
Alsa is still installed here on my Linux openSUSE Tumbleweed, but I
switched my sound system to use this new package.

I am very sorry to report that I cannot run a SuperFox Practice Session
tomorrow, after all. My wife was hospitalized yesterday with a broken
knee, and my priorities will obviously be elsewhere.

Mike, Yes plenty of those in list here, and I never use those, so great
idea to lighten the list to relevant, thankyou.

You say nothing about why your observation of "fuzz" should be
interesting or informative. Without screen shots or guidance about what
you're after, it's impossible to comment usefully.

I'm decoding K8R on 18.090
Hi Andy,
I saw the same effect yesterday on 21.091 with my ts2000 when k8r was around
0db and -1dB yesterday, no problem with the decodes.
The spread (fuzz is a good description) on my waterfall was actually quite
large >30hz I would estimate. Didn’t capture the files as it was decoding fine.
I'm decoding K8R on 18.090 with S/N varying beween +6 and +9. The tones are
clearly visible on widegraph and for most transmissions the signal appears to
be clean. Some transmissions have "fuzz" or spead on the individual tones but
the signal still decodes ok.
