Aye Captain Joseph & Crew,
Once upon a time I and others used the ionosphere with
HF for comms with B-52s. The rx site was at Westover afb
and the tx site was in Granby with multi KW ssb going
out on log periodics. There were at least 6 such stations
in the Alpha Bravo net.. now called giant
BTW -- The community would appreciate everybody turning on PSKReporter. We
have put changes in WSJT-X to support the HamSCI community doing analysis on
solar eclipses where the spotting will increase +/- 6 hours around a solar
eclipse event.
By default WSJT-X removes duplicate spots now

I worked through it and it's up and running. Thanks for the tips Kari. I did
run into a permission issue with the file in the archive but I worked through
that and got it done. Looking good so far.

Excellent Kari! I can work with this. I do compile from the source tarball but
that won't be a problem based on what you have told me. Hopefully this evening

Thanks!

Thanks Kari. That sounds like a viable option. Can you tell me how you did
that? I'm not a code warrior. I am an old DOS/Windows guy. I can follow good
instructions and do some logical troubleshooting but I'm not well versed in
making the compiler do cool tricks. :)

Looks like on Kubuntu 22.04, I have QT packages from versions 5.15.3 to
5.15.9
Maybe time to upgrade to a later OS version?
