All CQ 000 are for JT65 decodes - none seen for JT9 but there are many fewer JT9 decodes compared to JT65. Re: [wsjt-devel] CQ 000
This is what I got from PA1FR -- sounds like he's trying to send a normal CQ. I see JT65-HF-09.96.0 was released Jan 30th and first 000's I saw were Feb 1st. That could be a clue. Mike W9MDB Hello Mike, I am using the JT 65 HF version from HB9hqx ; JT65-HF-09.96.0 for a short time. Before that it was the version JT65-HF-09.77.0 and there was no trouble with a mysterious code 000. I saw that code indeed in other qso's on my screen. Perhaps a bug or an early development from HB9HXQ. I'll contact him for information. tks fer ur mail, 73, Francis/pa1fr -Original Message- From: Joe Taylor [mailto:j...@princeton.edu] Sent: Wednesday, March 11, 2015 11:54 AM To: WSJT software development Subject: Re: [wsjt-devel] CQ 000 On 3/11/2015 12:04 PM, Michael Black wrote: I'm seeing CQ 000 consistently right now from PA1FR on 10M. Re: [wsjt-devel] CQ 000
Hi Joe, Along with WSJT-X, I usually run JT65-HF HB9HQX Edition in rx only (I usually obtain slightly better decodes with JT65-HF, although the gap is decreasing). I have noticed the 'CQ 000 callsign loc' decode for quite some time now on each revision of WSJT-X. I have looked into this and found that it appears to be when a station transmits 'DX callsign loc' from the HB9HQX software. As an example, I have screen captures of the decodes from both versions of software and the screen capture of the particular stations information from pskreporter if you are interested. cheers, Allan VK4QG (VK4EME) On 12/03/2015 6:32 AM, Joe Taylor wrote: Thanks, Mike and John.
