Hi,
I'm forced to work with some extreme bandwith restrictions and was
looking into using more compression and/or the Modem / ISDN connection
setting. (I'm down to old time modem speeds, 128 kbit or less)
So far I could not find any documentation that shows what these really
do. I normally use
Hi,
I have been using X2go with a Debian Server and Linux Debian and Windows 7
clients for ages now. Most of the time it works flawlessly, but one thing
that bugs the hell out of me is that copy paste via clipboard from Client
to server does not work reliably. It works most of the time, but then
assistance in solving this, I use X2go every day on my
server and was pretty lost without it.

Where is */etc/x2go/x2gosql/sql* and *X2Go::Config module* coming from?
Which x2go package provides it and why isn't it getting installed? I tried
dpkg -i --force-confmiss on all packages to no avail. I mean on a brand new
installed system, you would not have
of complaining that a config is not
there (while in a fresh install, there is nothing installed and all the
files need to be unpacked and installed from scratch)
Thanks,

have never seen this message before. It is like apt / dpkg remembers some
setting that it is not supposed to remember (as the package was purged)

This is my main system, where I use X2goserver every day of the week and
have done so for years, it worked really well for many years now.
After doing the newest x2goserver update, several things broke and I can't
install x2go anymore. So I decided to clean up any old install, purged
everything.
I'm having the exact same problem:

Except that I erased the .kde config, to start fresh and it did not improve
the situation. I also specified 800 x 600 as window size,
Hi,
I have a question about the above file. This file regularly reaches 1 GB in
no time, and that for every user I use on the x2go server. How can I stop
this from filling? I'm pretty sure this also affects performance, if it is
filling up so fast.
Thanks,
Markus

Yes and no.
For Windows, you could put the X2GoClient directory on the USB flash
drive, add the ssh private key, and add a small batch file that runs
x2goclient.exe with the --portable option.
The catch is that there is no autorun for USB flash drives (that's a
security feature) in Windows,
Hi,
I just solved the problem where x2go would open sessions in full screen on
Windows without asking me to.
I removed the whole install and cleared the registry keys to wipe out the
config and now it works again, seems like there was an old config left
over, that is not configurable/changable
Hi,
does anyone of you know if there is a way to log into a X2go session
automatically by having an USB key plugged in that contains that crypto key
to authenticate the session?
Thanks,
Markus
