Thank you very much. This solves problem number two: When minimizing X2Go and
opening it again, the application is re-printed successfully now.
Yet, the latencies remain. I already contacted the developers to get some more
insights.

Well, I guess you could say x2goterminate-session does what

Well this was intended since this is the normal behaviour of
x2goterminate-session.

So, it's a known issue, that eventually will be solved. Thank you for the
clarification.
Worked around it by disabling drkonqi (export KDE_DEBUG=1 within a
kde_debu.sh file, whithin /etc/profile.d/)
