NumLock is usually activated on the T30 with Shift-ScrLk, but I
found my default X keymap did not allow this, so I had to enter the
command:
xmodmap -e keycode 78 = Scroll_Lock NumLock
to set it up to match the markings.

got rid of my host.def so that I didn't have
any stale configuration around. I still can't do any CTRL-ALT-XXX.

It's not moving towards unsupported. It's still on my supported list
I have been able to reproduce this problem on a DFP with a Radeon VE.
I'll be looking into the problem and let you know what I find.

Yes. I rebuilt from the latest CVS tree, and ran xtest and Mark's
linetest program. It all worked fine for me -- i.e., no artifacts.
