[xmail] Request for new var in USER.TAB
I use xmail for some time now, and I'm very pleased with it. I've set up also some mailing lists. I've created in perl the tools to manage nicely those lists. Including quick adding users to mailing lists, deletion, also adding and deletion of mailing lists accounts. I have one problem: I can't make my lists moderated. So if there is any way to do this with the present options I will be very pleased to hear. My sugestion is adding a variable in USER.TAB named Moderated (how imaginative..:), and when this var is set to 1 all the messages sent to the mailing list account will be forwarded ONLY to the ListSender. I can take it from there and make my tools. Thanks for your time. - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line unsubscribe xmail in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For general help: send the line help in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
[xmail] Re: A good webmail
I use Uebimiau 2.7.2 and I've made some modifications to allow users to change their password (using Xmail::Ctrl). If someone is interested please say! - Original Message - From: Leonardo Cabral To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, June 05, 2003 10:11 PM Subject: [xmail] Re: A good webmail Jeff Kukkola wrote: I'm running XMail on FreeBSD with Uebimiau 2.7 with no problems. Jeff Thanks to all for the recomendations. I'm going to take a look at Uebimiau and then to Horde (my problem with horde is that i need to recompile apache+php+openssl). [xmail] Re: How to limit msg size?
Loris, Davide Thanks! The problem was the Z flag, in the server.tab(defaultsmtp...) Spyros Tsiolis I was very angry at the moment, but this guy, last month, has sent a 2 mb msg on this maillist. I sent him a message explaining the mistake (offering also some tips on how to use JPEG instead of BMP...:), and modify the user.tab limiting msgs to 500k but didn't notice the Z flag (stoopid me...:) - Original Message - From: Davide Libenzi To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Saturday, February 22, 2003 10:47 PM Subject: [xmail] Re: How to limit msg size? Last month I've had the same problem with a msg of 1Mb, and then I've found in docs the MaxMessageSize thing, added a line in user.tab and forgot about the problem... Please remember that they're Kb. Also check the line syntax for real TABs and be sure there's no Z permission flag in both default SMTP perms in server.tab and in user.tab. - Davide - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line unsubscribe xmail in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For general help: send the line help in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line unsubscribe xmail in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For general help: send the line help in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Are you using the Z permission or not? I put here a few scripts that uses Xmail::Ctrl. Is there an easy way of doing this besides imputting each user in the list manually? And I need to make this a closed list I guess So I'm the only one that can send e-mails to it.
